Alice’s BOOKENDS
Joan, was the instigator of The Wooden Bowl. She encouraged Alice to set her ideas down on paper and write a book. Her thoughtful criticism began the shaping of the first bowl.
Catrina picked up the pieces and wielded her red pen. Without her patience and understanding the bowl would be shattered.
The Wooden Bowl has three mothers. Joan and Catrina are its bookends and Alice the dreamful inventor. Thank goodness for English teachers and precious friendships.
